I'm getting kinda bored of the internet

I’m finding myself less and less interested/occupied by the internet lately. Not in a bad way, I’m not depressed or anything. I’m just not find ing myself drawn into it so much lately. This isn’t a goodbye, or a break I’m taking, or anything. I’ve still got nothing but love for Oppo, and I’m not going anywhere . I’ve just been focusing more on getting actual stuff done, and doing actual real things in my life. It’s been nice.

Have a minty fresh malaise barge for your time.

Now I’m going to go back to making shelves for my kitchen cabinets. I hope everybody is having a nice Friday, and has a good weekend!

ha yeah I need to follow suite a bit, I am depressed and I think I’ve been spending too much time on the internet not doing real things.. it’s a hard switch to make.

I understand completely. I often find myself spending WAY too much time on Oppo, or writing, or looking at old pictures, while my chores go unfinished. There is a lot that I could and should be doing, but breaking away is difficult.

Getting old? Dude, I’ve been old most of my life! My mom once told me I’d been 40 years old, since I was 12 :)

Thing is, I’m not bored. And that is the problem. I often wonder what I would be doing with my time had I never discovered Oppo. Certainly, I would never have spent the last four years writing about airplanes.

I’m with you. I had about a six month hiatus from doing what I normally do on the internet, and now that I’m back, I just find it... boring.

Ever since my road trip forced me to take a two week break from the internet, I’ve also been spending far less time online. I’m actually enjoying it quite a bit.
